The German Public broadcaster ARD has televised a full length and in-depth interview with former NSA contractor Edward Snowden. (Sunday night the 26th Jan 2014) Snowden who will now surely go down as one of the biggest whistle blowers in history stated among other things that,
“The NSA is involved in industrial espionage and will take intelligence regardless of its value to national security”
The interview was conducted from an undisclosed location in Russia where Snowden has claimed asylum.
Edward Snowden is wanted in the US for the theft of governmental property, unauthorized communication of national security information and handing classified intelligence data to an unauthorized person.
